Allan Gathercoal DD, MTh, MA is the President/Founder of Flying Doctors of America, which he founded in 1990. He has been the team leader on more than 200 medical/dental missions. He has traveled the globe over the past 32 years but he "puts his feet up" in his new home town: Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. He loves flying as private pilot and an aficionado of classic cars.

Michael Altman has been a volunteer since 1991 and has served on the Board of Directors of Flying Doctors of America since the early years when he was first elected. He has been a team leader on several medical missions throughout the world and currently serves as Chairman/CEO of the organization. A CPA for 40 years and also a Managing Director of a Financial Advisory Practice with Ameriprise Financial for 23 years. Michael Retired in 2020 from his career to spend more time with Flying Doctors of America to slow down a bit but recently spends more time on Flying Doctors of America helping it continue after a 2 year Covid pandemic shutdown of Flying Doctors. He also recently started another company Altman Innovation Products and Publishing which includes 5 patents personally developed and a Number 1 best seller published book.
Liz Marcela is the former Executive Director for Flying Doctors of America. Her love is travel while bringing care to the world's less fortunate. She has a BS degree from University of Idaho in Economics and Finance and recently completed her masters program in Accounting from University of Idaho.
She also holds a certificate in Entrepreneurship from North Idaho College.
Kayreen is a nurse practitioner with primary experience in adult health and has also been an intensive care nurse for over 20 years. During this time she has also worked for a cardiothoracic surgical group for 6 years and managed an ICU for 2 years. Her primary area of expertise is ICU bedside nursing with cardiothoracic surgery patients.

He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He also was a Flight Surgeon with the Air National Guard from 2000-2012, rank of Major. He is a veteran of foreign war after spending time in Bagram Afghanistan as a Flight Surgeon.

She attended college at Harvard University, and then completed her medical school and residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She has participated in medical missions to Haiti, Cambodia, Madagascar, and throughout South America.

Dr. Jessica Willett is an Emergency Medicine physician based out of Northern California. She is also involved in global health and humanitarian work, acting as a member of various international aid organizations. She believes in promoting well-being as a primary component of medicine and seeks to spread awareness and education on mental health among those who provide medical care.
